I grew up in the west of Ireland and followed instinct more than a perfectly mapped plan. That path led me to California, starting at IBM and eventually building my career in San Diego — at the center of where innovation and growth intersect.
At Qualcomm, I built the partner marketing function from the ground up and scaled it into a global engine. I later led as Regional CMO for North America leading marketing and channel sales.
The ecosystem I worked across was vast — Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Meta, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Motorola, Bose, Best Buy, CDW, Insight — spanning regions, business models, and competing priorities.
But what made it work wasn't just the strategy, or frameworks. It was the collaboration. It's in people. In clarity. In alignment.
The ability to align teams that don't naturally move in sync. To understand what drives different partners.
And when you get alignment right and people feel connected to the work and to each other — that's when momentum builds, and results follow.
